TV News: More on “Family Guy” Abortion Episode

FOX finally weighed in on the much-discussed abortion-themed episode of “Family Guy,” confirming that it will not make the airwaves.

“Fox will not air the ‘Partial Terms of Endearment’ episode of ‘Family Guy,’ but we fully support the producers’ right to make the episode and distribute it in whatever way they want,” said of the episode.

Based around abortion, the episode was the subject of discussion at Comic-Con, where “Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane confirmed that he got the go-ahead to produce the episode, only for FOX to later opt out of airing it.

FOX’s statement nonetheless supports the possibility that it will be packaged in a future DVD airing.
