TNA Re-Signs Wrestler, Star Won’t Return to WWE

Total Nonstop Action ended speculation that the former Daivari would be returning to WWE, as per an announcement today that it has signed the wrestler to a long-term contract.

TNA’s Jeremy Borash confirmed the news on his Twitter Saturday, writing, “Sources tell me Sheik Abdul Bashir has signed a new multi-year contract with TNA. Everyone put on your turbans!”

Multiple sources had reported that WWE was considering bringing the wrestler back–he last worked for WWE in 2007.
