Fate of ABC Drama Revealed

For as extensive as ABC’s recent pilot ordering and series renewal spree was, it did leave the fate of certain shows unresolved.  Unfortunately for fans of “The Unusuals,” that ambiguity was better than the definitive answer.

In a weekend statement, series creator Noah Hawley confirmed that ABC will not be ordering a second season of the freshman drama.

Said Hawley on his Twitter, “Friends, just heard The Unusuals will not be back for a second season. Thanks for all your amazing support. Last 4 episodes start May 27th.”

The news is not too shocking–if its poor ratings did not seal the deal for hopeful fans, ABC’s recent pickup of ten new series most certainly did.
