Based on an abbreviated first week of activity, Carrie Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” earned a spot on last week’s Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.

Following its first full week of sales, streams and radio, the song predictably roars onto the actual Hot 100.

“Cry Pretty” takes #48 on this week’s chart.

Along with the benefit of a complete tracking week, “Cry Pretty” received an additional boost from the ACM Awards. Underwood’s performance was widely regarded as the best of the night, and “Cry Pretty” shot to #1 on the US iTunes store in the immediate aftermath.
