Keith Urban’s “Ripcord” Earns Platinum Certification In United States

Keith Urban’s “Ripcord,” which has already yielded four country radio number ones, recently earned a platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the certification was issued on April 7, 2017.

It confirms 1 million US units; each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Ripcord” includes the chart-topping country radio singles “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” “Break On Me,” “Wasted Time,” and “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

“The Fighter (featuring Carrie Underwood),” its fifth single, is currently climbing the charts.
