Tonight’s “Quantico” Focuses On Muslim Registry, Another Attack; What To Expect In “ODYOKE”

Quantico [ABC]

ABC’s “Quantico” resumes Monday night

Entitled “ODYOKE,” Monday’s episode focuses on the fallout of a domestic terror attack.

Said attack seems connected to the “collaborators” and to a vote on a Muslim Registry bill, which prompts the Task Force to take quick and immediate action.

The fact that one of their own is caught up in the attack compounds the urgency.

Headline Planet screened the episode ahead of Monday’s 10PM ET/PT broadcast. Here are five things to expect:

Familiar Territory
“Quantico” may ditched the split-time period format earlier this season, but it remains very familiar (for better or for worse).

By focusing on the more conventional notion of “terrorism” (including an actual attack and the expectation of another, bigger attack), this week’s episode truly emphasizes the familiarity.

Update On Raina
Shortly into this week’s episode, “Quantico” reveals whether Raina survived last week’s ambush. It also reveals exactly what was going on in her apartment.

Muslim Registry Takes Center Stage
This week’s episode provides the team with an unusual assignment: lobbying members of Congress to vote against a controversial bill.

The bill in question involves the creation of a Muslim Registry.

While the idea of the registry has specific storyline ramifications, it also provides “Quantico” with a chance to riff on the broader, timely issues of profiling and immigration.

Throughout the episode, the task force members and congressmen share views that resemble the discourse surrounding President Trump’s travel restrictions.

Alex & Owen’s Relationship Grows
The bond between Alex and Owen continues to strengthen.

While the rest of the task force focuses on the lobbying matter, Alex and Owen investigate a separate — and potentially dangerous — matter.

The investigation requires Owen to get back into the field; the emotion of that transition brings Alex and Owen closer together.

Ryan & Sasha’s Relationship Grows
Ryan may be “officially” working Sasha as an asset, but it is clear he has real feelings for her. She seems to share real feelings as well.

This week’s episode finds the two getting closer together from a personal standpoint. They also seize an opportunity to collaborate on the Congress task.

All seems rosy, but there is obviously cause for concern. Both have secrets, and it seems likely on a matter of time before those secrets start to threaten the bond.
