Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards will feature a live rendition of the hottest song in the America.
MTV confirms that The Chainsmokers and Halsey will be performing on Sunday’s show. The acts will surely be performing their collaboration “Closer,” which is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
They join a bill that also includes performances by Vanguard Award Winner Rihanna, Britney Spears & G-Eazy, Nick Jonas & Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj.
The main show begins at 9PM ET on Sunday, August 28. A pre-show co-hosted by DJ Khaled and featuring performances by Lukas Graham, Alessia Cara and Jidenna airs at 8PM.
