On the heels of the trio’s “Celebrity Family Feud” appearance, Mercury Nashville confirms the title — and impact date — of The Band Perry’s next country radio single.

Entitled “Comeback Kid,” the song goes for country radio adds in conjunction with the August 1 add board.

After departing Big Machine Records, The Band Perry signed a joint deal with Universal Music Group labels Interscope and Mercury Nashville this spring.

“Comeback Kid” is the first single to be promoted by Mercury.
