Broods’ “Free” Ranks As Alternative Radio’s Most Added Song

Broods’ new single “Free” edges Fitz And The Tantrums’ “HandClap” to earn the top spot on this week’s alternative radio add board.

“Free,” which is the lead single from the duo’s forthcoming sophomore album, was added by a format-leading 14 Mediabase-monitored stations in conjunction with this week’s alternative radio impact.

After two consecutive weeks as most added, the aforementioned “HandClap” takes second this week. It was picked up by an additional 12 alternative stations.

Each added by 7 adds, Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go,” Weezer’s “King Of The World,” and Cage The Elephant’s “Trouble” tie for fifth-most added.

This week’s other notable alternative radio options: Elle King’s “America’s Sweetheart” (6 adds, 6th, tie), Finish Ticket’s “Color” (6 adds, 6th, tie), Aurora’s “Conqueror” (5 adds, 8th), AWOLNATION’s “Woman Woman” (4 adds, 9th, tie), Bishop’s “River” (4 adds, 9th, tie), Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence” (4 adds, 9th, tie), Lewis Del Mar’s “Loud(y)” (4 adds, 9th, tie), Silversun Pickups’ “Circadian Rhythm (Last Dance)” (4 adds, 9th, tie), Wild Belle’s “Throw Down Your Guns” (4 adds, 9th, tie), and Young Wild’s “Not A One” (4 adds, 9th, tie).
