Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” Scores 2X Platinum Certification

Rachel Platten [FOX]

September 15, 2015 brought new multi-platinum certifications for Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” and “Bad Blood.”

It also brought one for a song Swift helped promote.

Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” for which Swift has provided ample hype, officially went 2X platinum on September 15.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, a 2X platinum certification confirms a US unit total in excess of 2 million. One unit equals one paid download or 100 streams.

A breakthrough for Platten, “Fight Song” peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
