Ratings: FX’s “Louie” Rises for Season 5 Finale; “The Comedians” Also Jumps

Leading out of a markedly improved edition of “The Comedians,” the season finale of FX’s “Louie” enjoyed week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Thursday’s “Louie,” which ended both the road trip storyline and the fifth season, drew a 0.24 adults 18-49 rating and 507,000 total viewers. Both numbers top those of last week’s episode, which delivered a 0.21 and 438,000 viewers.

Lead-in “The Comedians,” which posted a 0.18 with 387,000 total viewers last week, drew a 0.22 with 624,000 this week.

Ordered for a thirteen episode first season, “The Comedians” will continue to air through June.

“Louis CK: Live at The Comedy Store,” which aired out of the “Louie” finale, drew a 0.22 rating with 484,000 viewers.
