Hunter Hayes’ New Single Apparently Arrives on May 21

Absent from active country radio playlists since single “Tattoo” concluded its run, Hunter Hayes apparently has a scheduled return date.

A full-page ad in this week’s CountryAircheck.com trade journal strongly suggests that Hayes’ next single will arrive on May 21.

While no copy exists to explicitly confirm the notion, the ad (embedded below) features a calendar with Thursday, May 21 highlighted. And given that the calendar is watermarked with the musician’s signature Double H logo, the implication seems clear.

Absent copy, the ad also fails to communicate a title for Hayes’ next release. The emphasis on May 21 has, however, fueled speculation that “21” will also be the name of the new single.

Hayes has been playing a new song with that name at recent live shows.
