“SNL” Delivers Season Low Ratings for Andrew Garfield, Coldplay Episode

Tying a season low in both households and adults 18-49, Saturday’s edition of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” was the year’s weakest overall performer.

Hosted by Andrew Garfield with musical guest Coldplay, the “SNL” episode posted a 3.9/10 overnight household rating and a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets with local people meters.

The household number ties the low previously set by the Edward Norton-Janelle Monae and Seth Rogen-Ed Sheeran episodes. The adults 18-49 number accompanies the Josh Hutcherson-HAIM episode in the ratings basement.

“SNL” returns next week with an episode hosted by Charlize Theron. The Black Keys will perform.
