“Family Guy” Rips Kristen Stewart in Disappointing “German Guy” Episode

Always targeting celebrities, “Family Guy” has often found a comfort zone in ripping female celebrities it believes are falsely-labeled attractive. “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart became the latest victim of the show’s biting tongue, joining a list of female talent that includes Sarah Jessica Parker, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gina Gershon.

Though Sunday’s “German Guy” episode is receiving some very negative early feedback from critics and fans, its take on the cinema world’s Bella Swan has generated some online buzz. During a scene early in the episode, Chris (Seth Green) mocked the “Twilight” franchise with puppet versions of Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black, reducing the entire saga down to a case of a vampire and werewolf competing for the affections of an “unattractive girl.”

Cullen: “I’m a vampire, and I’m in love with this unattractive girl.”
Black: “I’m a werewolf, and I am also in love with this unattractive girl.”
Cullen: (sarcastically) “Boy, she sure can act though, can’t she?”
Black: “Nope.”

Chris then declares, “The end.”

Sunday’s episode featured Chris, in need of a hobby to substitute for his frequent masturbation, bonding with an elderly puppet enthusiast. Merv, jealous that his paedophilic crush was spending time with another old man, also realized that Chris’ new friend used to be an SS officer; he is ultimately tasked with saving Chris and his father Peter from the evil ex-Nazi.

  1. I like Family Guy, and I like Kristen Stewart.
Family Guy makes fun of a lot of celebrities, and things. It is actually okay.
Not that big of an issue.
I was wondering when shows like Family Guy, and even Saturday Night Live would poke fun at Twilight.

  2. Never having watched the Family guy (I am not much into TV) I can’t think anything would change with this episode.

  3. Last nights epi. The German fight sene Was the funniest fight sene I’ve ever
seen, “wait a min let’s take a nap”!! Halarious!!!

  4. well thank you “family guy” for your mean
spirited tacky jokes directed toward a pretty
young woman. I know what show I’ll never watch now!!!

  5. Seriously? The show makes light of concentration camps and making fun of HER is what people are upset about? Just sad.

  6. I have never watched this show ever since they mocked sarah pailns son who has down syndrome, it is simply not funny.

  7. Well the opening was hilarious. Chris has, um…an interesting hobby but the joke about the washing machine being pregnant begged for a cartoon depiction of that joke. I wish they would have carried it out further. I really enjoyed watching the scene with the two old men fighting in slow motion on my DISH Network HD employee service. The picture was so clear and I appreciate how they drag out these scenes like the chicken fighting and the throw up scene. I hope they never cancel this show because although I have more HD channels with DISH than any other provider right now I really like this one the best.

  8. Fantastic episode Family Guy. As someone who totally doesn’t understand the Twilight phenom, all that I can muster from the ads are two good-looking guy fighting over some sullen girl. Family Guy nailed it! For all the whiners, don’t feel too bad for Kristen Stewart as she’s laughing all the way to the bank.

  9. I am a big Twilight fan and I thought it was quite funny! Maybe that’s because I agree with it. They could have got someone attractive to star as Bella or at least one that can act! And it made me laugh that something as big as Family Guy would say that out loud haha.
