Original “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson will be a coach in the upcoming fourteenth season of “The Voice.”

Viewers will not have to wait until then, however, to see Clarkson on the program.

NBC confirms that Clarkson will be appearing as the “key adviser” for the current thirteenth season. She will be mentoring contestants from all four teams in conjunction with their Knockout Round performances.

The Knockout Round phase of “The Voice” begins airing on October 30.

Season thirteen is currently in the Battle Round phase.
