Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down (featuring Quavo)” and Camila Cabello’s “Crying In The Club” both premiered late Thursday/early Friday.

By mid-morning Friday, they were positioned prominently on the US iTunes single sales chart.

Payne’s single is #1 on the listing as of press time at 10:25AM ET. Cabello’s single is #10.

“Strip” is Payne’s first release outside of One Direction. Cabello has participated in collaborations outside of former group Fifth Harmony, but “Crying” is her first solo release. It is the lead single from her forthcoming album “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving.”

— “Strip That Down” and “Crying In The Club” were Friday’s highest-profile new releases, but they were not the only big songs to debut this week. Selena Gomez released her new single “Bad Liar” on Thursday; it is currently #3 on iTunes.
