NBC formally ordered another new show ahead of this coming week’s upfront presentation.
The network confirms that it has ordered the “Reverie” pilot to series.
“Reverie” stars Sarah Shahi as a former hostage negotiator who became a college professor following a personal tragedy.
Due to her skillset, however, she is brought in to save people lost in a virtual reality system that lets people literally live in their dreams. In saving these people, she may finally be able to save herself from the pain of the aforementioned tragedy.
Dennis Haysbert, Jessica Lu, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Kathryn Morris co-star.
