Kendrick Lamar’s “DAMN” will have no trouble claiming #1 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and 200 charts.

Based on opening day sales data, Hits Daily Double projects the album will sell 275-300,000 pure US copies during the April 14-20 tracking week. The tally will be enough for a dominant first-place finish on the Top Album Sales chart.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, “DAMN” should generate 460-485,000 first-week consumption units. The figure will position “DAMN” atop the Billboard 200.

The album is expected to generate over 200 million first-week track streams (over 133,333 SEA units). Upon doing so, Kendrick Lamar will become the second artist (after Drake) to drive more than 200 streams from a single album.
