Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Earns 5x Platinum Certification In US

The fourth single from Taylor Swift’s Grammy-winning “1989” just ascended to a new multi-platinum tier in the United States.

Swift’s “Bad Blood” was certified 5x platinum on February 21, 2017.

The certification confirms 5 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The first five radio singles from “1989” all hold multi-platinum certifications in the US. Sixth single “Out Of The Woods” is platinum, while seventh single “New Romantics” is gold.

Album track “Welcome To New York” also holds a gold honor in the US.
