The Lumineers’ “Cleopatra” Album Earns Gold Certification In US

Lumineers [NBC]

The Lumineers’ second studio album recently earned a gold certification in the United States.

Issued by the RIAA on February 7, the gold honor confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Cleopatra” was released in April 2016 as the follow-up to the group’s platinum-selling, self-titled debut.

It has thus far produced a #1 alternative radio hit in “Ophelia” and a Top 5 alternative hit in the title track.
