The 2016 American Music Awards broadcast is officially in the books, and all of the big winners have been crowned.
The list of notable winners includes Ariana Grande, Drake, twenty one pilots, The Chainsmokers, Tim McGraw, Florida Georgia Line, ZAYN, Selena Gomez, and Fifth Harmony.
Grande’s win for Artist Of The Year marked a major milestone in what has been a major year for the “Dangerous Woman.” Gomez’ Pop/Rock Female win provided a platform for an emotionally resonant speech. Drake is one of the three or four biggest stars in music right now, while the Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line wins gave country stars deserved mainstream attention.
Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign beat out some mammoth competition for the Collaboration award, while twenty one pilots and The Chainsmokers received awards attention that is unfamiliar as it is deserving for the duos, each of which had monster years.
