L+SD Ratings: “American Horror Story: Roanoke” Falls On Competitive Night

AHS [FX Networks]

Facing competition from FOX’s monstrously rated World Series finale and ABC’s coverage of the Country Music Association Awards, FX’s “American Horror Story: Roanoke” predictably suffered a live+same-day ratings drop.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s episode drew a 1.19 adults 18-49 rating and 2.20 million total viewers. The numbers, which trail the 1.41 rating and 2.62 million viewer mark garnered by last week’s episode, are the lowest live+same-day figures of the season.

Despite that statistic, Wednesday’s “AHS” still ranked as the night’s #1 cable original in adults 18-49.

As is typical of “AHS,” the episode will also receive a huge lift from DVR and multi-platform viewership.
