Alternative radio programmers are not simply adding the song, however. They are also providing it with a healthy amount of airplay.
That airplay brings the song into the Top 15 on this week’s Mediabase alternative chart.
Spun ~1,063 times during the July 31-August 6 tracking week (+202), “Welcome To Your Life” rises three places to #15 on this week’s listing.
— As “Life” joins the Top 15, Barns Courtney’s “Fire” and Coldplay’s “Up&Up” enter the Top 20.
Up four places, “Fire” earns #18 on the strength of its ~787 weekly spins (+81).
“Up&Up” follows at #20. The song, which was #21 last week, received 735 spins this week (+10).
