Britney Spears’ “Make Me (featuring G-Eazy)” spent Friday morning in the #1 position on the US iTunes single sales chart.

By early Friday afternoon, a new song was in the top spot.

Katy Perry’s “Rise” is the leader on the listing as of 12:55PM ET. Spears’ “Make Me” is down to #2.

“Rise” spent all morning gaining ground on “Make Me;” a segment during Friday’s edition of NBC’s TODAY Show helped accelerate its climb.

5 Seconds Of Summer’s “Girls Talk Boys,” one of the week’s other high-profile new releases, is currently #3. Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” (#4) Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” (#5) complete the Top 5.
