After spending four consecutive weeks in the #2 position, The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down (featuring Daya)” climbs to #1 on this week’s edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Don’t Let Me Down received a format-leading 18,552 spins during the June 19-25 tracking week (+597). It seizes the throne from Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” which slips to #2 after two weeks on top. “CSTF” was played ~17,936 times during the official tracking period (-133).

In reaching the chart’s pinnacle, “Don’t Let Me Down” becomes the first #1 pop hit for both The Chainsmokers and Daya.

The Chainsmokers’ previous high mark was the #3 peak achieved by “Roses (featuring ROZES).” Daya reached #7 with her debut single “Hide Away.” Both of those peaks came in February of this year.

Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla)” holds at #3 on this week’s pop chart courtesy a weekly spin count of ~17,422 (+976). Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” rises one place to a new peak of #4 with ~15,234 weekly spins (+1,250), while Calvin Harris’ “This Is What You Came For (featuring Rihanna)” enjoys a one-place lift to #5 on the strength of its ~13,223 tracking week spins (+987).
