Skrillex & Diplo’s “Jack U” Earns Gold Certification In The US

Skrillex & Diplo’s Grammy-winning album “Skrillex & Diplo Present Jack U” has officially garnered an album certification from the RIAA.

“Jack U” was formally certified gold on June 22, 2016.

The gold certification confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000. An album unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Jack U,” which on the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, spawned a multi-platinum (and Grammy-winning) hit single in “Where Are U Now.” The song jointly credits Justin Bieber and was considered instrumental in launching his 2015 comeback.
