Aided by an iTunes pricing discount and a Billboard Music Awards performance, Nick Jonas’ “Close (featuring Tove Lo)” reaches a new peak on the Hot 100.
“Close” rises nine places to #15 on the chart, which ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, radio airplay, and streams.
“Close” follows “Jealous” (#7 peak) and “Chains” (#13 peak) in becoming Jonas’ third Top 15 hit as a lead solo artist.
It is also the third Top 15 hit for Tove Lo, who reached #3 with “Habits (Stay High)” and #12 with “Talking Body.”
