FOX’s “Sleepy Hollow” Renewed For Fourth Season

While its Friday companion “Second Chance” was predictably cancelled, “Sleepy Hollow” earned a place on FOX’s 2016-17 schedule.

The network formally ordered a fourth season of the drama.

“Sleepy Hollow” performed like a hit in its abbreviated first season, but it was victimized by absence not, in fact, making the heart grow fonder. Interest had faded by the time its second season aired, and its live+same-day average fell again in season three.

While down year-to-year, the live+same-day audience was nonetheless steady for much of the third season. “Sleepy Hollow” also fares reasonably well on DVR and has value in international markets.
