A week in which Fifth Harmony received a new platinum certification and a Billboard cover story culminates in another career milestone for the surging girl group: a #1 radio hit.

Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” — the song that received the aforementioned platinum certification — ascends to the apex of this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

This is the first time a Fifth Harmony song has ever claimed #1 on a weekly US radio airplay listing.

Up three places, “Work From Home” takes #1 on the strength of the ~5,276 spins it received during the May 1-7 tracking week (+922).

“Work From Home” seizes the throne from Belly’s “Might Not (featuring The Weeknd),” which falls to #3 with ~5,022 weekly spins (-352).

Positioned between “Work From Home” and “Might Not” is Drake’s “One Dance (featuring WizKid & Kyla),” which rises five places to #2. It received ~5,029 weekly plays (+1,056).

Spun ~4,690 times during the tracking week (+813), Desiigner’s “Panda” rises five places to #4. Mike Posner’s “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” climbs one spot to #5 courtesy its ~4,294 tracking week plays (+116).
