Lightning did not strike twice for Owen Danoff.
The Team Adam contestant, who received the “Instant Save” last week, was unsuccessful in his bid for a reprieve this week. He has been eliminated from the competition.
The save instead went to Team Pharrell’s Daniel Passino, who joined Danoff in the bottom two.
In their effort to secure “Instant Save” votes from Twitter users, Passino performed “Jealous” and Danoff performed “Burning House.”
Following Tuesday’s results show, ten contestants remain: Daniel Passino and Hannah Huston from Team Pharrell, Shalyah Fearing and Laith al-Saadi from Team Adam, Adam Wakefield, Paxton Ingram and Mary Sarah from Team Blake, and Alisan Porter, Bryan Bautista and Nick Hagelin from Team Christina.
