Joanna Wellick and Phillip Price are about to take on bigger roles in the “Mr. Robot” universe. USA Network confirmed Friday that Stephanie Corneliussen and Michael Cristofer, the actress and actor who portray the respective characters, have been upgraded to regulars for season two.
They recurred in the first season.
Joanna Wellick is the smart, ambitious, conniving wife of Tyrell Wellick. Price is the CEO of Evil Corp.
In addition to confirming the cast upgrades, USA announced that Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy will appear as recurring guest stars in season two.
Bada$$ will play Leon, “a new close friend of Elliot’s from the neighborhood. He often talks excessively to Elliot, advising him and philosophizing the meanings of life.” Conroy is booked as Derek, “the young, attractive new man in Joanna’s life. Their intimate moments leave Derek infatuated with the Danish beauty.”
