While not the week’s highest-charting addition to the Top 40 — that honor belongs to Beyonce’s #28 “Formation” — ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” still makes a major splash on the Mediabase rhythmic radio airplay chart.
Up thirty three places, the song grabs #37 on this week’s listing.
The position comes thanks to a tracking week spin total of 511 (+382). “PILLOWTALK,” which concurrently elevates to #21 at pop radio, is reportedly receiving an iHeartRadio “On The Verge” boost at both pop and rhythmic radio.
The Beyonce and ZAYN songs are not the only additions to rhythmic radio’s Top 40. DJ Mustard’s “Whole Lotta Lovin’ (featuring Travi$ Scott)” also enters the chart this week.
Up two places, “WLL” takes #40 on the strength of its 489 weekly spins (+73).
