Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” Certified 3X Platinum in US; “Focus” Platinum

January 26, 2016 brought new RIAA certifications for Ariana Grande.

“Love Me Harder,” a radio single from Grande’s “My Everything,” attained 3x platinum status. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the certification confirms a US unit total of at least 3 million.

One unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.

As “Love Me Harder” had only been certified platinum prior to January 26, it also received a retroactive 2x platinum honor.

“Love Me Harder” features vocals from The Weeknd, but he is not listed in the RIAA entry.

“Focus,” Grande’s most recent single, was also awarded this past Tuesday. The tune attained platinum status, signifying a US unit total of at least 1 million.

It also received a retroactive gold certification.

As of January 21, “Focus” had sold 387,304 paid US downloads.
