Inclusive of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and a seemingly endless supply of promotions, the November 27-December 3 tracking week marked the beginning of the 2015 holiday season.

In conjunction with that shopping rush, several albums–even those of the non-holiday variety–enjoyed significant week-over-week sales gains.

Andrea Bocelli’s “Cinema,” for instance, more than doubled its weekly sales. According to Nielsen Music, the album drove 24,109 US sales during the aforementioned tracking week. The tally, which was the week’s 17th-best, represents a gain of 115% from last week’s mark.

Blake Shelton’s “Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits” also enjoyed a significant gain. The country superstar’s latest greatest hits release sold 30,239 weekly US copies, which marks a gain of 99% from the previous week’s total. In terms of pure sales, it was this week’s #12 album.

Up a whopping 91%, Selena Gomez’ “Revival” sold 23,336 US copies during the November 27-December 3 tracking week. It was the week’s #18 seller.

Taylor Swift’s “1989,” which had already sold over 5.4 million copies going into the tracking week, shifted another 52,115 in the US. The tally, which bests last week’s mark by 89%, was the week’s fifth-best.

Fetty Wap’s self-titled album drove 24,659 US sales during the most recent tracking week. Up 82% from the previous week’s mark, the tally ranks as the week’s 16th-best.

Carrie Underwood’s gold-certified “Storyteller” drove 45,315 tracking week copies in the US (+62%). It was the week’s sixth-best-selling overall album — and the top performer in the country genre.
