Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” Reaches Pop Radio’s Top 60

Following his show-stealing CMA Awards duet with Chris Stapleton, Justin Timberlake’s “Drink You Away” has been receiving airplay across the country, hot adult contemporary, and pop radio formats.

This week, “Drink You Away” generated enough airplay to claim a Top 60 ranking at pop radio.

The tune, which appeared on part two of his “The 20/20 Experience,” received 324 spins during the November 29-December 5 tracking week. It ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #57 song.

Last week, “Drink” was ranked at #66.

The aforementioned CMA Awards duet included live renditions of Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” and Timberlake’s “Drink You Away.” In addition to serving as a starmaking moment for Stapleton, the duet created legitimate demand for a Justin Timberlake country album.

It, as evidenced by the aforementioned statistic, put “Drink You Away” back on the radar.
