Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” Debuts With 57.1K Sales; Single Stays #1 on Country Airplay

As Chris Young’s new album “I’m Comin’ Over” debuts at #1 on Top Country Albums, the title track remains atop the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

According to Nielsen Music, the album sold 57,147 US copies during the November 13-19 tracking week. That is the week’s best sales mark for a country album.

With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album unit) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album unit) added to the sales total, “I’m Comin’ Over” generated 64,881 in first-week consumption. Also the best for a country album, the tally earns “I’m Comin’ Over” a #5 bow on the Billboard 200.

The title track, meanwhile, earns a second week atop the Billboard Country Airplay chart. It holds at #2 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart, which is now ruled by Carrie Underwood’s “Smoke Break.”
