Ratings: 2015 American Music Awards Show Falls From Last Year’s Edition

Based on Nielsen’s fast national data, Sunday’s American Music Awards ceremony suffered year-over-year losses in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Sunday’s ABC broadcast averaged a 3.5 adults 18-49 rating and 10.975 million total viewers from 8-11PM.

Last year’s show drew a 3.8 with 11.54 million in the comparable fast nationals and a 3.8 with 11.61 million in the final report.

On an hour-by-hour basis, this year’s show posted a 3.4 with 11.264 million viewers at 8PM, a 3.6 with 11.317 million viewers at 9PM, and a 3.4 with 10.344 million at 10PM.
