The Weeknd’s “In The Night” Again Ranks as Pop Radio’s Most-Added Song

Last week, The Weeknd’s “In The Night” scored pre-impact adds from 37 Mediabase-monitored pop stations. It ranked as the format’s most-added song.

This week, the new “Beauty Behind The Madness” won adds from 64 stations in conjunction with its official pop impact. It repeats as the format’s most-added song.

The impressive (but unsurprising) showing of support will allow “In The Night” to continue soaring up the pop airplay chart. It officially debuted at #35 on last week’s official Mediabase chart and is already up to #29 on this week’s real-time/building chart.

A total of 41 weekly Mediabase-monitored adds positions Gwen Stefani’s “Used To Love” as pop radio’s second-most-added song this week. Adam Lambert’s “Another Lonely Night” follows with 30 adds, while Tori Kelly’s “Hollow” takes fourth-most-added courtesy its 24 pickups.

Each added by 19 stations this week, Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible (featuring Demi Lovato)” and Nelly’s “The Fix (featuring Jeremih)” tie for fifth-most-added.

The week’s other notable pop options: Post Malone’s “White Iverson” (18 adds, 7th-most-added), The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring Rozes)” (17 adds, 8th, tie), twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out” (17 adds, 8th, tie), and Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away” (16 adds, 10th).
