Carrie Underwood Confirmed For “Kimmel;” Corden Appearance Being Rescheduled (Updated)

Update: Signposted by her absence from CBS’ official listings and promotion, Carrie Underwood is no longer set to appear on the Monday, November 2 “Late Late Show With James Corden.”

“The special appearance originally announced for tonight’s Late Late Show is being rescheduled,” notes a representative for Underwood.

Headline Planet will share the new date upon confirmation.

As far as November 2 goes, Underwood fans can still catch the country superstar on ABC’s “Countdown to the CMA Awards: Country’s Greatest Crossover Hits with Robin Roberts.” It airs at 10PM ET.

The comprehensive promotional campaign for Carrie Underwood’s “Storyteller” includes confirmed appearances on two late night talk shows.

The country superstar, whose new album officially arrives on October 23, will appear on the October 27 edition of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Underwood is headlining a Kimmel Outdoor Mini-Concert at that afternoon’s taping, and performance footage will air during the nightly broadcast.

According to Sony Music Nashville, Underwood is also slated to appear as an interview guest on that night’s episode.

Underwood will additionally appear on the Monday, November 2 edition of CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”

Not restricted to late night talk shows, Underwood’s string of promotional appearances also includes a “Citi Concert Series” performance on the Friday, October 23 edition of NBC’s TODAY Show and an interview and performance on the October 27 edition of the syndicated “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Given that it represents one of country music’s biggest releases this year, the “Storyteller” campaign will naturally extend to CMT. Underwood will co-host this coming weekend’s (October 24) edition of “CMT Hot 20 Countdown.”

The greatest exposure will come in conjunction with the CMA Awards. Underwood is set to appear on ABC’s November 2 “Countdown to the CMA Awards: Country’s Greatest Crossover Hits.” She will then co-host — and perform — at the November 4 ceremony, which will also be broadcast on ABC.

Underwood will then appear on the November 5 “Project Runway” season finale.
