Update: Confirming Headline Planet’s report, The Neighbourhood’s new single “RIP 2 My Youth” made its radio debut early Thursday afternoon.

The Neighbourhood’s “RIP 2 My Youth,” which was previewed at this month’s iHeartMedia Music Summit, is about to make its official radio debut.

According to Columbia Records, the single will be serviced to radio at 12:30PM ET on Thursday, August 20. (Update: The Neighbourhood is scheduled to premiere the song at 12:15PM ET/9:15AM PT on Los Angeles’ KROQ. It will formally be serviced to all programmers at the aforementioned 12:30/9:30).

Columbia did not supplement its announcement with specific details on the radio strategy (such as formats or impact dates), but it did boast that “RIP 2 My Youth” is the “first single from their forthcoming album.”

Per the band’s Instagram teases, that album is due on October 30.
