“Lip Sync Battle” may air as a standalone Spike series, but that does not mean there is no longer room for the sketch on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The sketch returns to Studio 6B during Monday’s edition of the flagship NBC late night show. And it features a very high-profile participant.
The latest edition of “The Tonight Show”‘s “Lip Sync Battle” pits host Jimmy Fallon against guest and “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” star Tom Cruise.
Taped Monday, the sketch airs as part of an episode that features an interview with Cruise, an interview with Dick Cavett, a performance by Ashley Monroe and Buddy Guy sitting in with The Roots.
In advance of the broadcast, which airs at 11:35PM ET, NBC shared a first look photo from the latest “Lip Sync Battle.”
