Leon Bridges’ “Coming Home” Debuts with 38.2K First Week Sales

Leon Bridges’ critically acclaimed debut “Coming Home” arrives as the week’s fifth-best-selling album.

According to Nielsen Music, “Coming Home” moved 38,157 copies during the June 22-28 tracking week. That earns the throwback release the #5 spot on the weekly Billboard Top Album Sales chart.

With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) included, the release’s first week generated a first week consumption total of 42,000. That allows for a #6 debut on the revamped Billboard 200.

The album’s title track is currently inside the Top 25 at Triple A radio. It will reportedly go for hot adult contemporary adds later this month.
