Ratings: “I Didn’t Do It” Viewership Falls for RaeLynn Episode; Trails “Liv and Maddie,” “Austin & Ally”

For the second consecutive week, a Disney Channel series featured a “Sounds of Summer” performance from a music industry celebrity.

For the second consecutive week, that series suffered an episode-to-episode viewership decline.

Last week, Disney Channel’s “KC Undercover” declined for an episode featuring Pentatonix.

This week’s “I Didn’t Do It” featured a guest appearance by RaeLynn. It, too, suffered an episode-to-episode decline.

Sunday’s “I Didn’t Do It” drew a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating with 1.945 million total viewers. The previous broadcast, which aired on June 7, posted a 0.40 with 2.057 million.

While the episode also suffered a loss in adults 18-34 (0.37 vs. 0.40), it managed a slight gain in females 12-34 (0.96 vs. 0.95). That demo is very valuable to the young-skewing Disney Channel.

— “I Didn’t Do It” was Disney’s #3 Sunday night program in all key metrics. “Austin & Ally” drew a 0.39 in adults 18-49, a 0.45 in adults 18-34, a 1.03 with females 12-34 and 2.016 million total viewers. “Liv and Maddie” posted a 0.38 in adults 18-49, a 0.48 in adults 18-34, a 1.18 in females 12-34 and 2.128 million total viewers.
