Jake Owen, Chris Young, Darius Rucker Debut on Country Airplay Chart

Singles from three high-profile solo country acts debut on this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The highest-charting of the three is Jake Owen’s “Real Life.” Aided by an hourly airplay promotion on its first day, “Real Life” launches at an impressive #29 on the Billboard chart. It received 9.080 million audience impressions within the official tracking week.

(Billboard’s panel, methodology and tracking week play more favorably to songs that launch in the manner of “Real Life,” but the song also scores a healthy #40 debut on this week’s Mediabase country chart)

Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” also lands on this week’s Billboard chart. After just missing last week’s listing, Young’s new tune joins the fray at #45. It received 2.540 million weekly audience impressions (+1.534 million).

“Southern Style,” the new single from Darius Rucker, also makes its presence felt on this week’s chart. It earns #54 on the strength of its 1.687 million impressions (+0.492 million).

While not new to the sixty-song chart, Aaron Watson’s “That Look” re-enters at #57. Its return to the Billboard Country Airplay listing comes courtesy its 1.432 million audience impressions (+0.568 million).
