Ratings: MTV’s “Finding Carter” Sinks to a New Series Low

Last week’s viewership increase was evidently not the start of a new trend.

Airing on the heels of MTV’s announcement that it has ordered 12 additional episodes of the show, this week’s “Finding Carter” slipped to series lows in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Tuesday’s episode posted a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating with 577,000 viewers. Both marks were down from those of last week’s broadcast, which scored a 0.38 adults 18-49 rating with 723,000 viewers.

Last week’s episode broke a streak of five straight viewership declines. Each of those declines produced a new series low.

The lowest “Finding Carter” had gone prior to this week’s episode, however, was a 0.32 in adults 18-49 and 661,000 in total viewers (on May 5).
