Twenty One Pilots’ “Blurryface” Pacing for 125-130K First Week Sales

Already responsible for a Top 10 alternative radio single in “Tear in My Heart,” twenty one pilots’ new “Blurryface” is on track to win the weekly sales race.

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is on pace to move a very strong 125-130,000 copies in the tracking week ending May 24. With Track Equivalent Album (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Album (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) data included, the album’s first week consumption total should land in the ballpark of 130-140,000 units.

The week’s next-best-selling newcomers will be Zedd’s “True Colors” (30-35,000 sales | 35-40,000 total units) and Brandon Flowers’ “The Desired Effect” (27-30,000 sales | 30-35,000 total units).
