When ABC issued “Castle” an eighth season order last week, only one of the two leads was officially signed on.
As of Tuesday, both are confirmed for the drama’s upcoming eighth season.
Following in the footsteps of her co-star Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic signed a deal to remain aboard the veteran drama.
While “Castle” will move forward with its two leads intact, it will not be sans change next year. Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter are collectively replacing David Amann as showrunner.
