T-Wayne’s “Nasty Freestyle” is the highest-charting of several newcomers on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
The release enters the all-encompassing chart at #43. That “Hot Shot Debut” position comes in conjunction with a #22 ranking on the Digital Songs subchart and a #34 ranking on the Streaming Songs subchart. Both of those also represent the highest positions for a new entry.
As far as the overall Hot 100 goes, Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” arrives as the next-highest-charting debut. It grabs the #80 position this week.
The song’s Hot 100 debut comes in conjunction with a #40 debut on the Digital Songs subchart.
Other debuts this week:
— Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” begins its Hot 100 run at #91. It does not appear within the published Top 50 of any subchart, but Headline Planet can exclusively report that “American Oxygen” ranks as the week’s #78 Digital Song on the strength of nearly 20,000 first week sales.
— Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” starts at #93.
— Kid Ink’s “Be Real (featuring DeJ Loaf)” opens at #96.
— “The Voice” contestant Sawyer Fredericks earns his first Hot 100 entry with “Imagine.” The cover from last week’s show enters the chart at #98. Fellow contestant Kimberly Nichole debuts at #100 with “House of the Rising Sun.”
The two songs land at #25 and #27 on Digital Songs, respectively.
— X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” debuts at #99. It also appears at #35 on Digital Songs.
