Surging airplay and another monstrous weekly sales total allow Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” to hold at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In addition to leading the Hot 100 for a second straight week, “See You Again” also earns a second atop the Streaming Songs (24.6 million US streams) subchart and a third at the apex of Digital Songs (375,000 US sales).
While the weekly sales figure trails last week’s 464,000 mark, it helps thrust the song’s cumulative total past 1 million. To date, “See You Again” has driven roughly 1.096 million paid US downloads.
“See You Again” rises thirty one places to a new peak of #19 on this week’s all-format Radio Songs chart (48 million impressions).
A second stint at #1 for “See You Again” means Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” grabs the runner-up spot for a second straight week. It holds the #3 position on each of the aforementioned three subcharts.
The Weeknd’s “Earned It,” which held the #6 slot last week, grabs #3 this week. The new peak position on the Hot 100 comes in conjunction with a #4 position on Streaming Songs (10.3 million streams), a #4 position on Radio Songs (142 million impressions) and a #6 position on Digital Songs (107,000 US sales).
Maroon 5’s “Sugar” follows at #4 on the Hot 100, while Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” grabs #5.
The remainder of the top ten: Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” (#6), Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” (#7), Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” (#8), Flo Rida’s “GDFR (featuring Sage the Gemini and Lookas)” (#9) and Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” (#10).
