The Radio Disney Music Awards ceremony takes place on April 25. To get the excitement flowing, an assortment of high-profile names will appear on the February 27 nominations special.
According to Disney’s press release, “Disney Channel Presents: The 2015 RDMA Nomination Special” will feature appearances by Nick Jonas, Jessie J, Meghan Trainor, Olly Murs, Becky G, Sabrina Carpenter, Fifth Harmony, Echosmith, Jessica Sanchez, Jacquie Lee and more. Note that these names are, thus far, only confirmed for appearances on the special and not necessarily nominated for any awards.
Set to air on Disney Channel from 7-7:30PM ET on February 27, the televised special will reveal the “broadcast nominees” for the annual Radio Disney Music Awards ceremony.
All categories and nominees will be further showcased during a February 28 radio programming block entitled “Radio Disney’s 2015 RDMA Nomination Special.” It will run on Radio Disney from 5-7PM ET.
Voting will commence that weekend and run through April 5. The live Radio Disney Music Awards show then takes place in Los Angeles on April 25.
